About PGP Corporation

PGP Investors
In early 2007, PGP Corporation raised $27.3 million in Series C funding. Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of Intel Corporation, and the D. E. Shaw group, a global investment and technology development firm, joined existing investors DCM (formerly known as DCM-Doll Capital Management) and Venrock Associates, providing funds to enable PGP Corporation to accelerate technology development and channel expansion. The funding enables the company to extend the flagship PGP® Encryption Platform with key management functionality that allows customers to transparently manage third-party devices and software from PGP Corporation, independent software vendors, and customer in-house applications.
In August 2002, PGP Corporation received $14 million in venture funding from DCM and Venrock Associates. In December 2005, PGP Corporation received $10 million in growth capital funding from DCM and Venrock Associates. Funds went toward accelerating R&D efforts and expansion of the PGP Encryption Platform.
