Media Release: Mycom Partners with PGP Corporation MYCOM PARTNERS WITH PGP CORPORATION TO ADD ENCRYPTION Cincinnati (BusinessWire)/February 15, 2005 - Mycom Group, Inc. (OTCBB: MYCO), a technology products, managed services, and software development company, announced it is introducing a new managed service and product, mailMAX™ Encryption, during the second quarter of 2005. Mycom has entered into an agreement with PGP Corporation, a global leader in enterprise encryption solutions, to include award-winning PGP® Universal encryption in mycomPRO® mailMAX™. The new feature provides all the advantages of private key encryption without the limitations of many current solutions. PGP Universal is automatic and transparent, allowing companies to encrypt some or all of their confidential email based on an enforceable security policy. PGP Universal supports the public key standards used by most enterprises-OpenPGP (RFC 2440) and S/MIME-and also provides a solution for recipients without keys. Mycom has begun beta testing of the new encryption functionality. Mycom's Chief Executive Officer, Rob Bransom, stated, "As legal organizations and corporations deal with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and health care providers face the privacy restrictions imposed by HIPAA, the need to secure outbound and inbound email is becoming critically important. We are pleased to partner with PGP Corporation to add this very important security element to mailMAX. Mycom becomes one of a very few tech companies that offer a bundled email filtering service with encryption." Mycom will feature mailMAX with Encryption and its' mailMAX with Archiving at the premiere network trade show, NetWorld+Interop Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 3-5, 2005. mailMAX was recently chosen as one of the best email scanning services by Network World Magazine. mailMAX scans both inbound and outbound email, checking for viruses, harassing or inappropriate (pornographic) content, pictures, key words, attachment types, and message size. The powerful, spam and virus filtering service, built by Mycom, operates on a highly secure Linux cluster. Reporting tools provide real-time information on email traffic. The system automatically sends summary notifications of stopped messages to the network administrator, individual clients or user groups. Learn more about mailMAX at www.mycomPRO.com.
