Media Release: PGP Corporation Selected as Security Standard

PGP CORPORATION SELECTED AS SECURITY STANDARD FOR SAT COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM SCORE REPORTING

PGP products expand as the standard for information security

Palo Alto, CA/14 November, 2003 – PGP Corporation, the recognized leader in secure messaging and information storage, today announced that its products have been selected by The College Board as the information security standard for the storage and transmission of high school students' college entrance examination scores. Score data can now be reported to participating educational institutions via The College Board's Internet Score Delivery system with the use of PGP® products and technology.

Internet Score Delivery can now deliver scores for several million students to more than 4,000 schools across the nation every year, directly over the Internet, without the need for disks, cartridges, or tapes. Once an educational institution has a PGP Desktop solution and has been set up for Internet Score Delivery, it will receive an email each time relevant score data is available for Internet pickup. Details of this program are available at http://www.collegeboard.com/prof/counselors/tests/sat/news.html.

Educational institutions can meet the PGP usage requirement with the purchase of any PGP Desktop or PGP Universal product. Institutions can purchase directly at www.pgp.com or from an authorized PGP reseller. PGP products secure the confidential communications of users ranging from individuals sending email through an ISP (PGP Personal Desktop) to institutions using email servers (PGP Workgroup Desktop and PGP Corporate Desktop) to institutions wanting automatic, network-based products (PGP Universal).

PGP Corporation's highly deployed PGP Desktop product line serves millions of individual users and corporations around the world. The Company's newly announced server product line, PGP Universal, is quickly gaining acceptance as the standard for enterprise secure messaging within and between organizations-with the capability to include new external members in the enterprise who were not previously registered PGP users.
