Partnership of Market-Leading Encryption and Gateway Products to Deliver Compelling Value for Joint Customers

Palo Alto, CA/20 July, 2005 – PGP Corporation, a global leader in enterprise data security and encryption solutions, today announced it has formed a partnership with CipherTrust, Inc., a leader in messaging security, to create an integrated email security solution that changes the economics of regulatory compliance. Businesses of all sizes will be able to meet the stringent internal security and government regulation requirements with a combination of PGP® Universal"s automated encryption and key management architecture and CipherTrust"s hardened email security gateway. This integrated solution will ship in an appliance form factor for easy deployment and implementation.

The joint offering will allow the companies" combined enterprise customer base to quickly implement a compliance solution that meets internal audit and risk management requirements. Combining PGP Universal"s automatic email encryption, decryption, digital signatures, and key management with CipherTrust"s IronMail® Privacy Architecture (IPA) enables customers to benefit from proven integration and joint policy configuration as well as single point of purchase, deployment, and support.

This joint solution provides customers the regulatory compliance they need without disrupting the routine delivery of email. The solution operates automatically and transparently both to the email system and email users.
