E-Commerce
Palo Alto, CA/25 August, 2005 – PGP
Corporation, a global leader in enterprise data security and
encryption solutions, today announced two additions to the PGP
management team: Steven Schoenfeld as Vice President Products
& Strategy and Denise Hayman as Vice President of North
American Sales. In addition, Doug McLean will assume the newly
created role of Vice President Online Operations & Commerce
and Brian Draves has been promoted from Director of Legal Affairs
to General Counsel. These changes provide depth and industry
expertise, enabling PGP Corporation to respond more quickly to
specific enterprise requirements in the areas of product
development, customer relationships, and contracts.
Steven Schoenfeld, Vice President Products & Strategy
Most recently, Mr. Schoenfeld was Director of Product
Management at Check Point Software Technologies for more than 6
years, where he helped grow revenue from $86 million to more than
$500 million. While there, he was a member of the
company"s Product Council, which oversaw product strategy,
execution, and measurement. Prior to Check Point, he was a key
member of the management staff for Pretty Good Privacy
(PGP)/Network Associates, where he led the strategy, definition,
and product management of client and server products into corporate
markets.
“My experience with PGP products goes
back to 1996, when we conceived of and delivered the first PGP
product suite for the enterprise,“ said Mr. Schoenfeld.
“Since then, PGP products have advanced significantly,
based on the PGP Universal platform. My focus is on delivering
world-class enterprise products that secure all aspects of data in
motion and at rest.”
Denise Hayman, Vice President North American Sales
Most recently, Ms. Hayman was Vice President Sales for Vontu,
Inc., where she focused on presenting emerging technology offerings
in data loss prevention software and services to Fortune 500
enterprises. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Worldwide

data and network integrity solutions, where she crafted the
company"s worldwide sales and channel strategy. Before
Tripwire, Ms. Hayman spent 10 years at Symantec Corp., lastly as
Senior Director, U.S. Corporate Sales and Marketing, driving 100%
annual revenue growth.
“My experience is that enterprise
customers must understand technical products in depth before they
can make an informed decision,” said Ms. Hayman.
“My task will be to enable customers to make those
decisions by providing them the details they need about the PGP
Universal platform and the PGP encryption applications suite. I
believe that once customers understand the innovation,
sophistication, and comprehensive nature of these products, they
will be interested in engaging PGP Corporation as a long-term
security and infrastructure partner.“

for PGP Corporation. Before joining the company, he was Vice
President of Corporate Marketing at Postini, a leading provider of

has also held management positions at Xerox Corp., Apple Computer,
and Hewlett-Packard and has led e-commerce initiatives at Netcom
and Software Buyline.
“Our corporate website and store are the
primary way in which many of our customers gather information on
and interact with PGP Corporation,” said Mr. McLean.
“By improving the usability of these sites and expanding
our e-commerce offering, we'll be able to materially grow
the company"s business and form tighter relationships with
our customers.”
Brian Draves, General Counsel

growth companies at the law firm Cooley Godward LLP.
“PGP Corporation has a long history of
standing firm on its users" right to protect their
correspondence and data,” said Mr. Draves.

together with corporations, individuals, and legislators to protect
our customers' fundamental right to data privacy - one of
the most prominent current legal debates.”
