In this role, Mr. Dunkelberger will apply his vast experience to helping CSIA advance cyber security policy in 2007. As the only organization dedicated to ensuring the privacy, reliability, and integrity of information systems, CSIA has played a critical role in influencing several key issues, including the ratification of the Council of Europe's Convention on Cyber Crime and the creation of the Assistant Secretary for Cyber Security and Telecommunications position. In 2007, CSIA will focus on achieving federal legislation to ensure the privacy and security of personal information, strengthening the Federal Information Security Management Act, shaping the cyber security agenda at the Department of Homeland Security, and expanding its influence in Europe.
